Top Dog Golf & Family Fun Center: From a "Coming Soon" Page to Ranking First on Google

← Back to all posts

Top Dog Golf & Family Fun Center in Kingsville, Maryland is a real business, an indoor Trackman golf lab, a driving range that's open 24 hours, club fitting, lessons from independent pros, a pub on site, and it had quite literally nothing online. Just a default GoDaddy template with a "Coming Soon" message and a phone number. No hours, no services listed, no photos, nothing a potential customer could actually use to decide whether to show up.

Turning the owner's vision into an actual site

The goal here wasn't complicated on paper: the owner wanted one place where anyone could find out everything Top Dog offers, without having to call and ask. In practice that meant building out real sections for every part of the business, lessons, club fitting, the driving range, the Trackman golf lab, clinics and events, and the Brown Dog Pub, each with its own clear description instead of one paragraph trying to cover everything at once.

We also put the basics people actually need front and center: a click-to-call number, a click-to-navigate address, and driving range hours, all visible the moment the page loads, on both desktop and mobile. A golf center's website doesn't need to be complicated. It needs to answer "what do they offer, where are they, and how do I get in touch" in about five seconds.

The result

Search "golfing in Kingsville, Maryland" today and Top Dog is the first website result that comes up. That's not an accident. A site with real content, real photos, and clear service pages gives Google something to actually index and match to a search, instead of a blank "Coming Soon" placeholder with nothing for it to work with.

If your business is still sitting on a placeholder page, or a builder site that never quite got finished, we'd be glad to take a look. See more of our work on the portfolio page, or get in touch to talk about your project.
